CTL roundup: Cascade baseball wins two walkoffs

PESHASTIN — What a day of baseball it was in the upper valley as both games of a doubleheader were decided in walkoff fashion.

The Cascade baseball team won both games of its Saturday twinbill against Okanogan by scoring in the bottom of the seventh inning with two outs. In the first game, Jesse Ward took home plate on a bases-loaded passed ball, and Nolan Pulse’s double with men on second and third won the nightcap.
