WENATCHEE — Seconds after burying the puck high glove side to clinch a sudden death overtime victory for his team, Wenatchee Wild forward Omar Mullan was swarmed by his teammates. What followed was what Mullan called the best post-game celebration he’s ever been involved in, and for good reason.

Not only did the goal secure a victory with just over a minute left in the overtime period, it was also the only score of the contest and in the fifth and final game of the North American Hockey League divisional semifinals against the favored Minnesota Wilderness for all the marbles: It doesn’t get more clutch than that.
