WENATCHEE — Pam Brulotte’s seen the Wenatchee Marathon blossom from a small race into a finely-tuned event rife with amenities and capable of attracting runners from throughout the region.
Brulotte, whose run in the marathon all nine years since its inception in 2005, remembers the early days. Packet pickup before race day would be at the Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club, or Arlberg Sports. The number of runners was small and limited — for the most part — to Wenatchee residents. What a difference a decade makes.
