FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- The Wenatchee Wild opened the divisional finals with another impressive performance and another shutout victory. Wenatchee defeated the No. 1-seeded Fairbanks Ice Dogs 4-0 Friday to go ahead 1-0 in the best-of-five series.

Jakob Ahlgren Scored the game-winner early in the second period, Parker Tuomie found twine twice in the third period -- once midway through the frame and another with just over one minute left in regulation on an empty net -- and Mike Coyne scored one last time to complete the rout.
