MAZAMA — Snowmobilers looking for late-season snow on Harts Pass near Mazama will see a change this spring in restrictions for the trailers they use to haul them.

In the past, the U.S. Forest Service allowed only single-axle trailers. That restriction is changed to allow only trailers that are 20-feet long or shorter, regardless of the number of axles. The length is measured from the hitch ball to the back of the trailer.
