WENATCHEE — Expect wet weather for Thursday’s kickoff events to the 10-day Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.

But if current forecasts hold, the worst of the rainy, windy and cold weather should be over in time for Saturday’s Youth Parade and could improve by next week’s Grand Parade.
