Highlands Alliance to present Amphibians of the Okanogan

TONASKET — The Highland Wonders Educational Series will host Scott Fitkin’s presentation, Amphibians of the Okanogan at 6:30 p.m. May 2 at the Community Cultural Center (CCC), 411 S. Western Avenue in Tonasket.

The presentation is free. A dinner benefiting the CCC will begin at 5 p.m. and costs $7.50 for CCC members or $8.50 for non-members, and $5 for kids under 12. Fitkin, a wildlife biologist, will give an overview of local amphibian species, including identifying characteristics, life history and presumed distribution.
