Land Trust presents series on fire

OKANOGAN — The Okanogan Land Trust will host a series of educational events about wildfires and prescribed burns.

The series begins with a presentation, “Fire Talk,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the PUD headquarters in Okanogan.

It includes an investigation of why fire is needed and the goals of prescribed burning.
