WENATCHEE— As of July 29, a record 477, 206 sockeye salmon have swam through the fish ladders at Rocky Reach Dam, in quest of reaching their northern spawning grounds.

This number is the highest since 2010. Hooked on Toys fishing expert Rick Graybill said that earlier estimations of fish counts are holding up.
