Sox win, but still trail Elks for wild-card spot

KELOWNA, British Columbia — The Wenatchee AppleSox piled on runs in the top of the 10th inning for the second time in as many nights on Thursday against the Kelowna Falcons at Elks Stadium.

The Sox badly outhit the Falcons, but the West Coast League East Division foes were stuck in a tie through nine innings. Wenatchee scored four runs on four hits in the extra frame and Hunter Wells completed his third shutout inning to secure the 6-2 win.
