WENATCHEE — Host families, or in the hockey world, billets, are essential in order to have elite hockey talent come to the Wenatchee Valley. There is a shortage of billets for the inaugural season of the Wenatchee Wolves, a new developmental league team in the Northern Pacific Hockey League.

Bliss Littler, head coach of the Wenatchee Wild, said he handles connecting billets with new players alongside assistant coach Chris Clark and Wolves head coach Ryan McKelvie. Littler said they have been taking an active approach to entice willing individuals and families.
