Local softball team wins championship

The Wally’s House of Booze softball team, powered by Custom Electric and Mr.Shredz.com, won the championship in the men’s REC division at the United States Specialty Sports Association REC State Tournament Men’s Slowpitch tournament last weekend in Tacoma.

We went 7-0 on the weekend en route to the title: 16-6 vs. Mary’s Burger and Shake, 9-5 vs. Timeout, 20-6 vs. Extinguishers, 12-2 vs. Wicked Misfits, 20-10 vs. Charlie’s Angels, 16-9 vs. Nightmare/M2 and 19-8 vs. Nightmare/M2 in the championship. We outscored our opponents 112-45, had a team batting average of .656 with Jason Heinz batting .800 on the weekend and Lou Connolly and Micah Cawdery batting .792 .
