Region-wide fireworks ban up for discussion

WENATCHEE — A ban on all fireworks in Chelan and Douglas counties will be up for discussion at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wenatchee City Hall.

“Because of fireworks, we’ve been really close to having a major event but we’ve been able to duck it so far,” said Wenatchee Mayor Frank Kuntz.
