WENATCHEE — A Cashmere woman is accused of running over two friends who attempted to stop her from driving drunk.

Sarah N. Etheridge, 37, faces two charges of vehicular assault after Chelan County sheriff’s deputies said she struck the two women with her car Aug. 3. The victims told deputies they tried to keep Etheridge from driving away from a home in the 12000 block of Wilson Street near Leavenworth after a day of drinking and floating the Wenatchee River.
