Blanche L. Brown

August 18, 1916 ~ August 25, 2014

Blanche L. Brown, 98, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014, in Vancouver, WA. She was born on August 18, 1916 in Stockdale, TX to David and Ada (Harrison) Whitten. She moved to Wenatchee, WA when she was 23 years old. She worked for Speidel’s Department Store in East Wenatchee as a Sales Clerk for many years. Blanche was a member of King’s Orchard Church of Christ, where she was very involved in helping others, making quilts, volunteering in the kitchen at the church and had a very strong faith and trust in God.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Kimberly Matthews of Vancouver, WA; two great-granddaughters, Sarah Becker and Ariel Rockwell; and her great-great-granddaughter, Zoey Rockwell.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Wenatchee City Cemetery. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guestbook at jonesjonesbetts.com. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones~Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, WA.
