While vacationing at Lake Chelan, I came across an old copy of “The Night the Mountain Fell.” It’s a fascinating volume chronicling the history of North Central Washington. The title page indicated it was published by KPQ. One of the writers credited was Ron Ruhser, former news director of the radio station. Seeing Ron’s name opened a mental vault and a flood of memories washed over me.
