March 16, 1996 ~ August 20, 2014

Sarah Lynn Underwood, 18, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born on March 16, 1996, in Brewster, WA to Tom and Sonia Underwood. She attended school in Wenatchee and would have been a senior this year at Eastmont. Sarah loved the outdoors, going fishing, hiking and boating on Lake Chelan. Her inspiration in life was to become a Forest Ranger and work in the outdoors.

Survivors include her father, Tom Underwood of East Wenatchee, WA; her mother, Sonia Underwood of Omak, WA; one brother, Ralph Underwood of Omak; one sister, Loraine Underwood of East Wenatchee; and her grandmother, Mary Jo Underwood of Columbus, IN. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Loraine Hull; her grandfathers, Floyd Hull and Ralph Underwood; and her auntie, Mary Hull.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Jones & Jones~Betts Memorial Chapel in Wenatchee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her late grandfather’s Scholarship Fund for Disabled Children at Ralph Underwood Endowment, Fayette County, 521 Central Avenue, Connersville, IN 47331.
