WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Fire have a new league to call home for the start of the indoor soccer season in early October. Previously in the Premier Arena Soccer League, the team will switch over to the Western Indoor Soccer League for the upcoming season.

WISL co-founder John Crouch said some former PASL team owners, including himself, were unhappy about the way the league was expanding. After expansion teams from Burnaby, British Columbia, and Bend, Ore., were admitted, Crouch decided to look into the possibility of a new league.
