She worked in her father’s drug store for four years, then married Robert Johnson in 1950 and moved to Moscow, ID, while he completed his metallurgical engineering degree at the Idaho School of Mines. They combined their two families; Lynn, Janelle, Craig and Kent Johnson and Barbara and Bill Baldwin, Jr. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Damian Guild. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at their Lake Chelan cabin, water-skiing and all. She loved to travel and made many trips to Hawaii, overseas, and in the states.

She is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Lynn (Everett) Gahringer of Wenatchee, WA, Janelle (Guy Baltzelle) Johnson of Woodinville, WA; sons, Craig (Shawn Underwood) Johnson of Burien, WA, and Kent (Susan) Johnson of Olympia, WA; Barbara Baldwin of Spokane, WA and Bill (Patti Holden) Baldwin, Jr., of Kirkland, WA; grandchildren, Jennifer Gahringer, Katie (Nathan) Smeltzer, Austin, Conner, and Lexi Johnson, Trevor and Andrew Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Lizzy and Mackenzie Smeltzer.
