KENAI, Alaska — The Wenatchee Wild capped off a tripleheader against the Kenai River Brown Bears with another thrilling victory in free hockey.

This time, Wenatchee managed to avoid a shootout to collect points. It defeated the Brown Bears 2-1 in overtime thanks to an early score by Troy Loggins, who lit the lamp just 42 seconds into overtime to lift his team to victory. Center David Powlowski was credited with the assist.
