Wild working to improve special teams, cut down on penalties

When Wenatchee Wild head coach Bliss Littler mapped out his team’s most recent road trip to Alaska, he pointed to three phases in which his team would need to have success: special teams, goaltending and limiting penalties.

With one week down and one more to go — this weekend, starting tonight, the Wild will take on an elite squad in the Fairbanks Ice Dogs — Littler is still placing great emphasis on those talking points.
