WENATCHEE — What month is this again? Three weeks ago we had record-breaking warmth, and now we’re hit with late-season cold, ice, snow and slick roads. Is it really February?

Temperatures plummeted into single-digits again Thursday across much of North Central Washington as a surprise front swept from the south to bring up to an inch of snow to some areas. More snow — a 60 percent chance on Saturday — is expected through the weekend.
