WENATCHEE — A public open house to lay out the gritty details of this spring’s street construction in downtown Wenatchee will be held next week.

The project overview will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Wenatchee Performing Arts Center. City officials and consulting engineers will present project drawings and construction schedules, as well as answer questions about the work.

The project on Wenatchee Avenue between Kittitas and Second streets will include a new paved road surface, improvements to curbs and crosswalks, some traffic signal improvements and upgrades to underground water, sewer, irrigation, electrical and fire suppression systems.

For more info, contact consultants at SCJ Alliance, 886-3265, or city engineers at 888-3200.
