TACOMA — The Panthers bowling squad wrapped up the first day of Class 4A state competition with a total score of 5,288. Wenatchee sits in second place behind Battle Ground, which finished the day with a score of 5,709.

The Panthers’ Bethany Symonds finished third overall among individuals with a score of 1,258, Brianna Saylor was 18th with a 1,045, Jaylah Young had a 1,011 and Courtney Archer had a 990.
