YAKIMA — Wenatchee boys basketball ended its season 10-5 in Big Nine play after losing to Daivs 85-61.

“They jumped to a 12-2 lead in the first,” Wenatchee coach Rone Stone said. “Their leading scorer went 6-for-8 on 3-pointers and we felt pretty good we weren’t down more than 38-30 at halftime.”

Wenatchee missed an opportunity to tie the game at 56 with a missed layup and Davis hit back-to-back 3-pointers to extend the lead and never fall back.
