...WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF THE REGION POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK... .A LONG PERIOD OF LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL ADD UP TO POSSIBLE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER A 24 TO 36 HOUR PERIOD. ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BEGIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN THE CASCADES AND BEGINNING THURSDAY EVENING OVER THE REST OF THE REGION. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF OVER MOST AREAS BY LATE FRIDAY...SNOW SHOWERS

Ruby E. Riehle, 87, of Wenatchee, WA, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born on February 1, 1927, to John and Effie Branch in Albion, WA. She was a Wenatchee resident for 34 years. She married Fred Riehle on June 4, 1944. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in nursing homes for many years. She also had worked as a caregiver for home care. She had been an active volunteer member at the Wenatchee Senior Activity Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Riehle; her son, John Riehle; her parents, John and Effie Branch; her sister, Naomi Carothers; and her brother, Archie Branch. Survivors include her son, Tom (Nancy) Riehle of Wenatchee; her brother, Elbert Branch of Albion, WA; her grandsons, Thomas (Nicole) Riehle and Casey Riehle; her granddaughters, Christy Riehle and Kellie Carrington; and two great-grandchildren.
