Swimmers to compete at state meet

FEDERAL WAY — There will be 12 swimmers altogether from Eastmont, Wenatchee, Cashmere and Quincy participating in 14 events on Friday at the boys state swimming and diving meet.

The Panthers’ Jared Vargas is the highest-ranked athlete going into the event as he sits at third in the 100 yard breaststroke and fifth in the 200 individual medley.
