EPHRATA — When the postseason hits, the stakes of every contest increase exponentially. It’s no surprise then that nerves can play a factor in a team’s performance. That seemed to be the case for the Pateros Nannies girls basketball team Thursday at Ephrata. At least to some extent.

The Nannies took care of business, downing the Moses Lake Christian Academy Lions 41-29 in the 1B District 6 tournament title game and will compete at regionals against a team to be announced March 1. It will be their second straight appearance at regionals.
