WENATCHEE — A routine maintenance check resulted in a nearly 4-hour crash Thursday of Internet service delivered to some 9,000 connections over Chelan County PUD fiber.
Crews are still studying exactly what wrong and how to prevent it from happening again.
“We don’t know exactly what happened. We have a lot of investigating to do,” Mike Coleman, the PUD’s director of fiber and telecommunications, said late Thursday.
