TONASKET — A workshop on how to prune and thin forests for tree health and protection will be held next month in Tonasket.

The three-hour session — “Forest Pruning & Thinning: A Hands-On Workshop and Field Day for Family Forest Owners” — will be held from 9 a.m. to noon April 5 at the Fire Springs Ranch, 64 Fire Springs Road. Registration is $20 and includes materials.
