Debra L. McDonnell, 59, a lifetime resident of Ephrata, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.

She worked with special-needs students and was a cheer and track coach in the Ephrata School District. She also worked as a caterer.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of Ephrata; her children, Rachel Gehrlein of Pasco, Wesley Wiersma of Lynden, Derek Wiersma of Nooksack and Danielle Salmon of Wenatchee; her stepchildren, Casey McDonnell, Rachel Hufman, Jason McDonnell of Spokane and Nathan McDonnell; and her parents, Julian and Sylvia Agranoff.

A private graveside service will be held. A community memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are by Nicoles Funeral Home, Ephrata.
