Light bulb mania Wenatchee-area residents are stocking up on the much-loved-but-wasteful 40-watt and 60-watt incandescent light bulbs, which, by federal law, were no longer manufactured starting Jan. 1.

Stores around town say they’ll likely have stock to sell for up to six more months, but these bulbs will be heading the way of the 100-watt incandescent, which was phased out in 2012 and the 75-watt, which graced its final store shelves last year.
