SPOKANE — A 35-year-old Nespelem man is accused of purposely setting a fire on the Colville Indian Reservation that burned 250 acres and threatened several homes last summer.
Mylan Williams was indicted Dec. 18 by a federal grand jury of setting fire to tribal lands. If convicted in U.S. District Court in Spokane, he faces a maximum of 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, court documents state.
He is a Colville tribal member.
