EAST WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee girls bowling team didn’t need a full season to clinch a league championship. The Panthers picked up their fourth consecutive Big Nine title Tuesday with a 3-1 win against Davis with two games left on the schedule. They improved to 9-0 on the season.
“It is nice that no matter what happens in the last two (matches) nobody can get us,” coach Jay Young said. “.... It’s over for this one and it’s our fourth in a row, so that’s kind of neat.”
