CASHMERE — Time and time again, Easton Driessen found himself with the ball in his hands. Time and time again, Driessen delivered a key bucket for the Brewster boys basketball team in the fourth quarter of one of the Bears’ biggest games of the year. Driessen knew that he was being counted on to come through to keep his team in front, and he didn’t just thrive in those pressure situations — he absolutely dominated.
By the end of Tuesday’s contest at Ron Doane Gymnasium, there wasn’t much the Bulldogs could do except to congratulate Driessen on an absolutely superlative performance. They tried everything in their power to stop him, but they couldn’t.
