An amazing community
On Nov. 23, 2013, our son broke his neck and injured his spinal cord in a snowboard fall. Since then, we have been blessed by the kindness, thoughts and prayers from so many people. It is impossible to thank each person who contacted or helped us in any manner. There are certain people we would single out however: The Ski Patrol at Mission Ridge and anyone else who assisted in the care and removal of our son from the site of injury; the doctors, nurses and therapists at Central Washington Hospital, Med Star, Harborview Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital for their professional and compassionate care of our child; Meegan Carlson and her family for the blessing of choosing our family as worthy of your kindness by holding the amazing fundraiser, Stuffing a Stocking, to assist with the expenses we have and will continue to incur during the rehabilitation phase of our son.
