WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley College Student Senate hosts a celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy on Tuesday, including a keynote address from Highline Community College instructor Darryl Brice.

Brice, who holds a Ph.D in sociology from Loyola University in Chicago, gives a 3 p.m. address in Van Tassell Student Center on King’s roots and impact. The celebration opens at 10 a.m. with a panel of WVC faculty and community members holding a dialogue on King and on local issues of social justice.
