CASHMERE — The Cashmere girls basketball team has been steadily picking up on first-year coach Brett Darnell’s philosophy throughout the year and the whole team got involved on Saturday against Omak in a 58-19 win for the Bulldogs.

“We’re definitely making strides,” Darnell said. “One of the things I’m excited about is our offensive execution. New coach and new year, it takes time to get used to this. But I’m happy with where we are.”
