OLYMPIA — Discussions about Big Bertha, the Interstate 502 bridge and other Seattle-area projects have dominated transportation talks, but a local legislator would like people to know the details of projects close to them as well.

Rep. Brad Hawkins, R-East Wenatchee, has proposed a bill to add state contracts for transportation and capital projects for people to view online along with how much is being spent in their area. It would be an addition to a website that currently allows people to see state spending on transportation and capital projects in their country or district.
