Othel D. Haney, 87, a 60-year resident of Wenatchee, died Monday, Jan. 20,2014.

He worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight Ways and he worked at Alcoa from 1966 to 1989. He also owned an orchard.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa A. Haney of Wenatchee; his children, Jim D. Haney, Janet M. Purinton and Rick L. Haney, all of Wenatchee, and Steven W. Haney of Peshastin; and his sister, Veda Riddle of Richmond, Calif.

A commemoration service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at King’s Orchard Church of Christ, 1610 Orchard Ave., Wenatchee, with Dale Linge, minister, officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
