LeRoy “Babe” Dial, 74, of East Wenatchee died Friday, Jan. 17.

A longtime resident of the Wenatchee Valley, he spent 18 years working in the Chevrolet garage as a body repair and paint man. He then sold automotive paint and supplies for another 17 years until retiring.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl Dial of East Wenatchee, stepson Terry Gillum of Toppenish, stepdaughter Becky Nicholas of Seattle, and brother Robert Dial of Tucson, Ariz.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. at Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, 711 Grant Road, East Wenatchee. A private burial will proceed the service at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
