Forest Service to hire seasonal firefighters

TONASKET, WINTHROP — The U.S. Forest Service is seeking firefighters to fill temporary, seasonal positions in the Methow Valley and Tonasket ranger districts.

The temporary posts pay $12.07 per hour and requires the firefighter be stationed in either Tonasket or Winthrop, the federal agency reported in a news release.

Qualifying applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet minimum requirements based on job duties.
