In a recent column, I shared my experience that it isn’t always cheaper to “do it yourself.” Today, I want to share another landscaping experience from 2013 that taught me that same lesson.

Again, let me make clear that, like many men, I like to do things with my own hands. I like to be able to show results for my efforts. I like to prove my resourcefulness and value to my darling wife.
