Manson fire district seeks pared down levy lid lift

MANSON — Officials with Fire District 5 are hoping voters find a pared-down request for money more palatable than the request proposed in August.

Fire officials eliminated a bond issue, which had asked for $4.135 million to build a fire station, and are limiting their request to a levy lid lift. That levy would be less than what the district asked for in August.
