Farrar focusing on future after missing Tour roster for second-straight year

The Tour de France is considered the pinnacle of any cyclist’s career. Years of preparation and intense strength and conditioning training are required to participate in the prestigious 2,200-mile race.

Wenatchee native Tyler Farrar got that chance in both 2011 and 2012. In the 2011 campaign, Farrar won his first Tour de France stage when he trekked from Olonne-sur-Mer, France to Redon on July 4.
