AppleSox can’t overcome errors, Kelowna earns lopsided win

KELOWNA, B.C. — The Wenatchee AppleSox earned an impressive win on Friday that could lead one to believe the team was back on track.

Saturday’s result vanquished those thoughts as the AppleSox were blown out by the Kelowna Falcons in a 13-4 game.

The Falcons scored seven runs in the seventh frame and Sox starter Ian Buckles had his worst start of the summer as he lasted just four innings, in which he gave up 13 hits and 12 runs.
