Linda Dawn England

January 5, 1959 ~ June 25, 2014

Linda, 55, left this world for Heaven on June 25, 2014, after a three year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends in Spokane, WA. Linda was born January 15, 1959, in Wenatchee, WA to Beverly Ann (Batch) Sapp and Danny Sapp. She spent her early years in East Wenatchee and Pateros, WA. Her mother was killed in a car accident when she was about nine. Later, she became the daughter to Floyd and Charlotte Covey of Omak, WA. Linda married Clarence Swindle II in 1976, in Omak. She lived in Alaska, Tacoma, WA and Spokane, WA. A son, Clarence “B.J.” Swindle III was born during this time. On June 17, 1988, she married Kip England in Spokane. During this time, she worked at B&B Hobbies. When they moved to Omak, a son, Josh England, was born. In Omak, she was an associate at Walmart when they first opened. Later, she worked at Mid-Valley Clinic, then with Dr. Paul Hartkorn, until moving to Spokane due to her health.

She is survived by her husband, Kip England; sons, Josh England (Rhiannon Gray), Clarence “B.J.” (Missy) Swindle III; parents, Floyd and Charlotte Covey; brothers and sisters, Dallas Covey (Tina Hendrickson), Sheila (Scott) Bailey, Pam Allen, Clifton, Harmen, Kirk and Glen Sapp; grandchildren, Shiloh, Clarence “C4”, Matthew, and Stayce; close friend, Grace Cantu; and many friends and family. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ann (Batch) Ulrich; stepfather, Ed Ulrich; father, Danny Sapp; all her grandparents; and sister, Diane.

A Celebration of Life for Linda England will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Omak First Assembly of God Church, 15 E. Bartlett, Omak. Wear purple, her favorite color, if you’d like.
