Quincy neighborhood evacuated after possible bombs found

QUINCY — A Quincy neighborhood was evacuated early Tuesday morning when officers serving a warrant found two suspected explosives in a home.

About 15 homes near the 100 block of J Street Southeast were evacuated at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, said Sgt. Paul Snyder of the Quincy Police Department. Neighbors were allowed to return to their homes shortly after 9 a.m.
