July heat reaching record highs

WENATCHEE — And you thought it was hot last week.

Over the next week Wenatchee could experience record highs, according the National Weather Service.

The temperature is expected to float at around 100 degrees all week and peak at around 104 Sunday. It could reach 103 on Wednesday.

If it does hit 103 that Wednesday, it will be a record high for July 16, which reached 102 in 1960. Even the expected overnight low would be a record high, lingering…
