Eric W. Fox
September 2, 1967 ~ July 12, 2014
A great man was taken unexpectedly, and way too soon, on July 12, 2014, from an aortic aneurysm, in Spokane, WA. Eric was born and raised in Brewster, WA. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and was an avid ZAGS fan his entire life. He had a wonderful career, spanning 20 years, as co-owner of Applied Solutions, working as a Control Engineer. During that time, Eric developed close relationships with many of his customers and colleagues. Eric’s true love was his wife, Kim Fox, whom he married on June 2, 2002. Together, they were raising their two children, Spencer and Andrew, ages 11 and 9. Eric loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, skiing, golfing and cycling, especially when shared with close friends and family. Eric was a member of the Washington Officials Association (WOA) for 20 years and officiated high school basketball games. He was also active in his boys’ sports, coaching their baseball and basketball teams.
Eric is survived by his wife, sons, parents, William and Donna Fox, and brother, Curt Fox, all of the Spokane area, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
A special thank you to dear friends, Bryan and Stephanie Bowman. They were with Kim and Eric at the time of his passing and provided immeasurable support and love. Also, Eric’s family would like to thank all the emergency personnel who worked tirelessly to help Eric.
Eric’s life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., Spokane WA. Casual, summertime attire will be appropriate. Memorial contribution information will be available at a later date. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home, Spokane, WA.
